In this business, you have to use what you got to get what you want, and Vanessa walked a tightrope until she realized the power that rested between her legs. With her father not helping her out financially, she becomes fixated with stripping, and that brings her into another world of trouble, filled with fucked up club owners and backstabbing friends and in the midst of it all, Mario reappears in her life. Except for this time around, he wants something more than her silence. She rejects him at first, but as she realizes that revenge for her boyfriend's death is now at her fingertips, she takes advantage of it. With the intentions of sending him to his grave the same way he sent Cedric’s to his, she uses what she has to take advantage of weakness, but what she encounters is more than what she was ready for. Oh my goodness! I don't know what I would do if my boyfriend was killed right in front of me. Vanessa handles it, deals with her loss, and keeps it moving, though she doesn't forget about her lost love. Ashley was dead wrong for allowing Vanessa to be assaulted and I have to say, Vanessa is much better than me because I don't think I would have been able to get over the fact Ashley left me out there like that when she could have done something to help. I guess what goes around comes around though, because Ashley got it back, BIG TIME! I'm still trying to figure out how Vanessa's dad knew everything that was going on. I know he was a street dude in the past and I'm guessing he still has some contacts and keeps his ears to the streets, but still. Good book, didn't think I was going to like it much when I started reading but am very happy I didn't give up on reading it. I enjoyed it very much, very well done Ms. Higgins!

Okay....where do I start with this one....This one was more of a deja vu like as if it read before at first...then it got really interesting and I realize I was picturing it like a movie as I was reading it lol. That darn Vanessa what can I say about her without giving the story away??? She is too easily influenced for me that's one... two that bii don't play about her man lol... I hated the things she had to go through but I'm glad she made it out at the end of it all... I could've slapped her in the beginning with her lil ungrateful behind but I'm glad her dad didnt give up on her. Oh yeah one more thing, THAT IS NOT THE WAY U END A BOOK!!!! lol I read this book in about an hour or two I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book."
Another hit. I couldn't put it down. Keep writing and I will keep reading.
Very good read. The ending was suprising😁, but left me hanging. I nees to know what happens next.

Omg...is all I can say...This story had me from the beginning to end. Had me wanting more. I'm going to.purchase the bundle next week. Hopefully still same price. A few errors but...was not really noticeable... But love it. Can't wait to read more from the Author...Love you Girl!!
I have to be honest. This book was clearly a page turner. It was as if once you got to the end of the chapter you just had to find out what would happen next. It brought back some memories of the things I did when I was growing up. Fabulous work Tamicka!
